About the department (KPO)
The Department of civil law is a scientific-academic workplace dedicated to comprehensive teaching and scientific research of substantive civil law and procedural civil lawWithin the framework of the Master's degree programme in Lw and Legal Science, it provides teaching of the key subjects of Substantive Civil Law and Civil Procedure, as well as a wide range of additional compulsory elective subjects focused on the theory and practice of substantive civil law and procedural law. The department also guarantees studies in the doctoral programme in Theoreticl Legal Sciences, specialization in Civil Law and also provides teaching of civil law subjects for students of other faculties of the University of West Bohemia. Members of the department are academicly respected experts in the position of professors, associate professors and assistant professors, who, in addition to teaching, actively participate in the scientific, publishing and grant activities of the department.
