Follow-up master studies

The Faculty of Law at ZČU has an accredited follow-up master's study program "Public Administration," with a specialization in "Public Administration."

The follow-up master's study program in Public Administration, specializing in Public Administration, builds on the bachelor's program of the same name, which has been successfully established at the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň for a long time. The program responds to the growing demands for the quality and professional preparedness of Public Administration workers, particularly in connection with the adoption of the so-called Civil Service Act. It is not only about acquiring advanced knowledge and skills in public administration but also about the ability of public administration workers to view the exercise of public power and related processes in a broader professional context – legal, social, economic, geographical, political, and international. The newly designed study program responds to current practice requirements, which increasingly demand diversified, field-specific qualification training for various types of administrative activities. Besides a general foundation in administrative sciences, the graduate is equipped with specialized knowledge focused on administrative areas that have previously been only marginally addressed. Employment opportunities are broad, particularly in administrative roles within public or state administration.
